How It Began…
A virtual space (a.k.a a blog) which I named indobay became an expression of my journey...my journey from grief and uncertainty to resilience and deep, soul happiness derived from living a creative, intentional and simple life aligned with what mattered most. Living within the spirit of indobay helped me to re-connect with myself, pay exquisite attention to my life and my choices and navigate into the best life for myself and my little man.
A Fire Was Lit…
My journey took many incarnations over the years. At the center of it all, wellbeing, connection and creativity were always consistent anchors. I longed to share with others, and to bring together a community of folks yearning for more clarity, creativity and community.
In 2017, Intent Space, was born. Intent Space existed to support each other in transitioning to a more intentional, meaningful way of living. Through simple movement, meditation, self-care practices, inspired events, ritual and ceremony my hope was to cultivate experiences that supported a true sense of well-being and care; simply, sincerely and sustainably.
…THEN 2020 HAPPENED
A year like no other that forced me to pause, recalibrate, refine and to cultivate more clarity once again around what mattered most.
It was with a heart that was wide open, hopeFULL and tender that I made the decision to let go of the physical space of Intent Space.
Within the physical space I was confined around how I could create and offer what I envisioned for the future. In letting go I was free to create and share in the most accessible and impactful way.
I’m ready! Where I am currently…
As I started envisioning how I would now show up, the idea of returning to school to complete my journey from several years ago—becoming a licensed therapist—began to emerge. Yet, as I weighed the lengthy path to licensure, compounded by the emergence of Covid and the urgent demand for more mental health professionals, I ultimately opted for a different direction.
In 2021, I committed myself to a rigorous study of body-centered approaches to mental, emotional wellbeing and healing. Rather than following the conventional path, I immersed myself in focused study of modalities that resonated with me and seemed most pertinent to current needs.
As a non-licensed practitioner in the mental health and wellness field, I've obtained foundational certifications in several leading trauma-informed modalities with therapists and leaders in the field of somatic psychology.
At the heart of my work is the intention of creating a nurturing space that gently guides you back to yourself—enriching your healing journey with deeper self-understanding, joy, creativity, and beauty.
Within this container, you’ll find support and encouragement to embrace life’s complexities with grace, nurture the desires of your soul, and celebrate your unique gifts. I will also hold space for you to grow with kindness, honoring the areas where transformation is ready to unfold.
In these times, this work is more essential than ever-a practice of healing, connection, and renewal that the world deeply needs.
with love, Tania
